Application Deadline for Northeast Regional BioGENEius Challenge
Dear Colleagues: The 2010 sanofi-aventis Northeast Regional BioGENEius Challenge will be held on Saturday, March 27th at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ (see attached flyer). If you have outstanding high school students working on biotechnology-related research projects, please encourage your students to apply for the competition. Applications are to be submitted directly to the Biotechnology Institute which will then use a panel of judges to select two winners from each state who will be invited to attend the regional. The application receipt deadline for the Northeast Regional is January 15, 2010. Ideally I would like judges from academia as well as industry and government agencies and I would like to see judges from several states in the region.
